FAQs
Q: How many treatments are required?
A: You will need between 4 and 6 sessions to achieve meaningful results. This depends on the area being treated and the need of each client. Your therapist will advise how many sessions are recommended during the consultation.
Q: Who is suitable for Exilis treatment?
A: Anyone between the ages for 21 to 70+ should be suitable for the treatment. Exilis is very useful for targeted areas of stubborn fat such as thighs, bingo wings, saddle bags, tummy and love handles. The device also has special applicators which can be used for the treatment of loose skin and cellulite. This is not a weight reduction treatment and is not advised for the treatment of obesity or large areas of volume reduction.
Q: Is there any reason why I might not be able to receive the treatment?
A: Fortunately there are very few barriers to getting the treatment. However anyone with metal implants or active implants (like a pacemaker) would be unable to undergo Exilis treatments. Also, we cannot perform the treatment on you if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
Q: Is there any downtime?
A: There is no downtime with Exilis treatments and you can go straight back to work after your session. You may experience transient erythema (redness) that will last from a few minutes to an hour or possibly longer. Your skin may feel quite warm for up to a few hours after treatment as deep tissue retains heat longer. You may feel tenderness in the treated area.
Q: How does Exilis Fat Reduction work?
A: The unique combination of Radio Frequency and Ultrasound make The Exilis Ultra 360 the most advanced and effective device on the market for low risk, non-invasive fat reduction. The Ultrasound oscillates (shakes) the fat cells to loosen them and make them more accessible to the Radio Frequency process.
