She already has quite thick brows, so the difference is more in the tidiness and definition. But with thinner brows the change is more dramatic as the HD treatment can really thicken them up.

HD Brows “I’ll never look back!”
I recently completed my training for HD eyebrows, and I am really enjoying doing them! HD brows are a new revolutionary 7 step procedure to get the perfect brows. HD brows are eyebrow artistry as it can transform even the most over plucked brows over a course of treatments.
It is much more than just a regular eyebrow shape! First of all the brows are tinted to suit the individuals colourings. We then wax, tweeze and thread the brows. The aim is to create a more angular shape rather than rounded. To finish the treatment off, some mineral powder is applied and any areas that need to be left to grow are penciled in. The HD Brow Beater then sets and holds the brows in place.
The trainer Nilam was fantastic and taught us how to assess each individual’s brows to create an HD shape to suite everyone’s face shape.
I was very nervous about having my own brows done as they are very blonde and I have never tinted them before. The finished result however is unbelievable! My eyebrows are so much fuller and defined now! I’ll never look back!

Beautiful open eyes!
They frame your face and some would say are the windows to our soul….others may have the attitude never trust anyone who’s eyebrows meet in the middle!! Personally, I think it is essential to keep your eyebrows well maintained and groomed…..for men and woman alike. Waxing for eyes in salons is sometimes over-used as a quick fix and often therapists do not take the time to do a full consultation about the shape and where the arch should be to make the most of your assets.
Threading, however has no heat and therefore it completely eliminates the opportunity to burn the skin. It is precise and more importantly not harsh on the skin like waxing can be. The eyebrows certainly looked groomed and I believe there is much less room for error. All staff here have gone mad for it and the results are amazing I could not recommend I highly enough.
Tahseem our threading expert is back!
We are really happy to announce that Tahseem our in salon threading expert is now back working with us after some time off for maternity leave.
Tahseem will be based at Zen Teviot working Wednesday and Thursdays, while the lovely Zara will be based at Zen Bruntsfield apart from Fridays where she will be working with us at Zen Teviot Place.
If you have never tried threading then you really should! Threading is a traditional technique using sterile thread to remove hair from unwanted facial areas. Our threading expert’s based at both Zen Bruntsfield and Zen Teviot are experienced, friendly and fantastic and getting you super shaped brows – so good even the A list celeb’s would be jealous!
