Stars in our Eyes at Teviot Place!
Further to our blog post about the stars dropping in to the new salon at Hanover street for treatments, (‘Cheryl’ and ‘Nancy’ from Hollyoaks, and Sam Faiers from The Only Way is Essex), we thought we’d mention some of the stars who’ve recently visited the Teviot salon for treatments.
Comedian Russell Kane (winner of last years Fosters Comedy Award) was in at the Teviot Place salon for a massage, which he described as “mind blowing”. He liked it so much he immediately re-booked and bought a voucher for a friend! He was in Edinburgh for the festival performing his show ‘Manscaping’, which explores the ridiculous state of masculinity in the modern world.
We also had British acting legend Simon Callow (star of cult movies such as Four Weddings and a Funeral, Shakespeare in Love, etc) in for treatments at Teviot Place. He was in a one man show about a transvestite and needed us to make him beautiful (and when I say us, I mean our therapist Becky). After his waxing he said “she’s a brute that girl, a brute!” Beauty is pain Simon, beauty is pain.
Well it’s been really eventful during the festival month! We’ve enjoyed catering to the stars, and hopefully they’ll come back to us for their treatments next August.
TOWIE and Hollyoaks glamour
Our new salon at Hanover Street has been getting some great buzz with stars such as Sam Faiers from The Only Way Is Essex, and Bronagh Waugh (who plays Cheryl) and Jess Fox (who plays Nancy) from Hollyoaks, visiting for some indulgent treatments.
On Friday 26th August Sam enjoyed a Shellac Manicure & Pedicure before her trip to Ibiza, and loved it so much she booked back in for a Massage! She Tweeted before her treatments “Can’t wait to get my nails done @zen_lifestyle I have heard your the best in Edinburgh! See u soon girls x x x.”
On Saturday 27th August Jess relaxed with a Massage,while Bronagh chose relaxation
and pampering with a Massage and Manicure. Jess kindly wrote after her treatments “Thank you so much for my wonderful massage. I honestly don’t think anyone has ever got out so many knots. Beautiful spa, great staff, and wonderful treatment. Candles smell amazing too.” Bronagh also wrote something lovely saying ”What a beautiful salon in the heart of Edinburgh. Thank you so much to Kieran, Fiona, the therapist and the team. BEST MASSAGE EVER after a long day of filming. ‘Hands of an Angel’. Will defo be coming back next time I’m in Edinburgh.”
