Blogger Reviews of Zen Beauty Treatments

We’ve had some great blogger reviews lately and wanted to share them with our Zen followers! 

Blogger Baroque Boudoir said she had an “awesome hot stone massage” with us, and had “such a great time at the salon”.  As a  new client she received a goody bag from us which contained the Murad Clarifying Mask, and Refreshing Cleanser. She is passing these on as a giveaway on her site. Another blogger Claire had a Diamond Tome Microdermabrasion treatment with us and said “by the time I left – there were two year olds out there who would be jealous of how smooth my skin was.” On having the treatment she says “You could feel it working and smoothing out your skin”. I am sure after reading this review you wont need convincing that it is the best facial treatment to deeply clean and smooth out your skin.

Rani from the blog page Cupcake Couture also recently visited Zen and had a Shellac Pedicure and Hydrating Facial. She said that “Zen is all about luxury!”… and we agree! She absolutely loved her facial saying “It was so relaxing”, and  raved about how convenient Shellac polish is, as it dries straight away. Hanover Street salon – Now Open!

We are pleased to announce that our new salon at 84 Hanover Street is now open! The Hanover Street branch is a very  welcome addition to the Zen family, after Bruntsfield opened 11 years ago, Teviot place 6 years ago, Hanover Street is the long awaited third salon to be opened, but boy was it worth the wait!!  We have absolutly no doubt it will be as successfull as our Teviot Place and Bruntfield branches.

Hanover Street looks quite different from our other two branches, its sleek high gloss finish doesn’t look out of place in Edinburgh’s city centre, however the open fire at waiting area, over sized treatment beds and  the low purple up-lighters in each of the treatment rooms will instantly make you feel relaxed and not the least bit intimidated. It truley does look amazing!

We have 4 treatment rooms, a spray tan room, nail bar aswell as a deicated lash and brow bar and we will of course  offer all the same treatments and stock the same product ranges as Teviot and Bruntsfield.

Hanover Street is in a great location, perfect for those luch time and afer work treatments, so if you havent had the chance, please pop in and say hi, the girls will be more that happy to offer you a glass of fizz and show you around.

Fresh Fancy Feet

Well it’s that time of year again when our feet have to come out of the winter boots and into the flip flops and sandals for the summer ahead, so this is a great time to treat the feet!

Our spa pedicure at Zen Lifestyle consists of so many different stages that your skin will feel silky soft and your toes beautifully polished.

In this 60 minute treatment hard and cracked heels are treated to an exhilarating exfoliation, with stubborn hard skin being removed with a foot blade.

Cuticles don’t get off  any easier too! After being soaked with some cuticle exfoliator they are then pushed back and nipped away. Following this a thorough file will then get your toes into tip top shape.

Once all the hard work is over, you will experience a de-stressing foot and lower leg massage with our nourishing OPI massage cream.

Once toes have been cleaned, a polish of your choice will then be applied.

Rushed for time? Take the option of having an express pedicure. Nails and cuticles still get a tidy up, and a beautiful colour applied to finish the treatment off.

Zest magazine (August issue) features The Cellulite Solution and it receives a rave review!

Top Sante (August issue) ran a whole feature on the important of water in health and beauty and of course interviewed Dr Murad for the article and quoted him several times throughout the article.
