Zen Lifestyle is a stockist for the Neom Candles which are an excellent gift for birthdays and Christmas. These candles are luxury organic candles which mean they do not give out any toxins and actually smell when they are burning. They are made from vegetable wax and essential oils so you can get an aromatherapy treatment at home while you relax.
We stock 4 different candles and have a limited edition Christmas candle which is perfect for burning on Christmas morning or even when you’re putting up your Christmas tree. This candle has the perfect Christmas blend of warm, spicy notes of Cinnamon, Ginger, Mandarin & Tonka Bean – a perfect mix to create that festive mood at home.
It is recommended to only burn for maximum 4 hours at a time as the oils can become quite strong. The candles burn for 55 hours in total and also come with a silver sniffler to use when putting the candle out.
We do also have other candles which have a mixture of lavenders and sweet basil and lots of other choices to suit everyone’s tastes.

Permanent make up
I recently became very interested in having permanent make-up and like others I had questions and worries about undergoing the treatment. When I found out that Zen Lifestyle were carrying out the treatments I immediately
began to research. I was very impressed on how much knowledge and information the staff had on the treatment and how open they are about having treatments done. Not only was I overwhelmed by the enthusiasm they had when I arrived for my consultation I was happy to see the skin piercing and tattooing license displayed on the wall which instantly calmed my nerves.
Once I had filled out a detailed consultation form I was taken into a comfortable room to speak to the practitioner about the treatment. The full treatment was discussed and where I received my patch test, the practitioner explained the sensations which I would feel, what treatment she recommended me and chatted in depth about colours. She also explained reactions which could occur
and how I would feel after the treatment.
I left the salon with full knowledge about the treatment and no worries. After I had left my patch test for 24hours I called to book my very first permanent lash enhancement!
On the day of my treatment I arrived at the salon to get my eyes numbed prior to my treatment, once this was on the practitioner ran over the details from the consultation to make sure I understood every step of the procedure. After ten minutes my eyes were numb and the treatment began. The first step was the “tag” which is when the skin is broken to insert a full antithetic. Once administered I could not feel any discomfort throughout the whole treatment. At each stage the therapist kept me reassured and asked about my comfort and 90 minutes later the top and bottom lash enhancement was complete and I received my after and home care advice.
I was very lucky I received no swelling or peeling on the area that was treated and I was back to work the following morning. Even though I lost some pigmentation on my lower lashes a few weeks post my treatment I now have a much defined lash appearance and I am looking forwards to having my touch up treatment.

Zen christmas shopping evening
We would like to say thank you to all our clients who battled the cold, the snow and the travel nightmares and made
it along to our christmas shopping evening. Despite the arctic conditions outside both evenings were a great success.
Clients were greeted from the cold with a mince pie and a warming glass or two of mulled wine. Kevin from Cosmeceuticals was on hand giving advice on all things Priori, he also introduced the new Coffeeberry Mineral make up which really is amazing!
Fiona Fowley was advising on those perfect christmas presents and chatting about semi permanent make up and HD brows. We were also showcasing the Elemis and Murad christmas gift sets, not only are these great gifts, but they look good and are fantastic value for money.
Clients who purchased items on the evening received a goodie bag worth over £40. Each goodie bag contained a Murad make up purse with mini sizes of 6 Dr Murad products (including the Intensive Wrinkle Reducer -known Botox in a bottle) 3 Elemis body products were also included along with a copy of Dr Murad’s new book The Water Principal oh and lets not forget a £15 Zen gift voucher! Amazing!
